Abenteuer Teilchenphysik - Forschung hautnah miterleben
Am 29. Juni 2024 findet öffnet das Forschungs- und Technologiezentrum Detektorphysik (FTD) der Uni Bonn seine Türen. Es gibt ein buntes Programm für Besucher jeden Alters: Vorträge, Laborführungen, Führungen am ELSA Beschleuniger, Live-Schaltungen zu den Experimenten an CERN (Genf) und KEK(Japan) sowie eine Ausstellung, die Schritt für Schritt erklärt wie ein Teilchendetektor gebaut wird. Drum herum gibt es ein vielfältiges Rahmenprogramm aus Mitmachworkshops, Rallye, Hüpfburg sowie kleine Experimente für Kinder. Das gesamte Programm ist kostenfrei, für Workshops und Führungen bitten wir um eine Voranmeldung unter https://indico.hiskp.uni-bonn.de/. Wenn noch Plätze frei sind, wird dies aber auch spontan vor Ort noch möglich sein.

Adventures of Particle Physics - experience research up close
The Research and Technology Centre for Detector Physics (FTD) at the University of Bonn will open its doors on 29 June 2024. There will be a varied programme for visitors of all ages: lectures, laboratory tours, guided tours of the ELSA accelerator, live circuits to the experiments at CERN (Geneva) and KEK (Japan) as well as an exhibition that explains step by step how a particle detector is built. There will also be a varied supporting programme of hands-on workshops, a rally, a bouncy castle and small experiments for children. The entire programme is free of charge, but please register in advance for workshops and guided tours at https://indico.hiskp.uni-bonn.de/event/540/. If there are still places available, it will also be possible to register spontaneously on site.
